THE HARRISON COUNTY CATHOLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM
Our Schools are dedicated to academic excellence in a Christ-centered atmosphere.
The Madonna Day Care Center, St. Mary's School, and Notre Dame High School comprise the Harrison County School System. Each center of learning is dedicated to the education of the whole person--spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially.
SPIRITUALITY
Madonna Center
Madonna Center's Pre-School children offer a morning prayer, and Grace is said before each meal. The Guardian Angel program helps to instill a "safe" feeling for children who are preparing to enter kindergarten.
St. Mary's and Notre Dame
Daily prayer and frequent celebration of the Eucharist are important parts of Catholic education. Personal spiritual growth is encouraged through one-on-one counseling, retreats, campus ministry, and community service.
Students learn responsibility in an atmosphere of respect and positive discipline. Our school community is based on faith and love, a theme that is emphasized in daily Religion class, where students learn the importance of Gospel values.
