Pastor, Father Casey B. Mahone
A one-time assistant at Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral in Charleston and a priest for 19 years, Father Mahone, 52, was Pastor at Parkersburg's St. Francis Xavier Church, before coming to Immaculate Conception Parish. Father Casey had five years as a physician's assistant at the Stevens Clinic in Welch before heading off to seminary in his late 20s.

  

Sister Maria and Sister Berita
Both are members of the Order of the Sisters of the Infant Jesus (SJI) and are natives of Zimbabwe, Africa.

Sister Maria Sheri Rukwishuro comes from a family of five children. She joined the SJI Order in 1990 and made final vows in 2003. She has done Pastoral Work and until coming here, she taught religion in their Catholic Schools. Sr. Maria looks forward to working with our parish School of Religion and in serving God's people in other needs.

 

Sister Berita Mhashu comes from a family of eleven children. She joined the SJI Order in 1964 and made her vows in 1974. She served several years in Catholic hospitals in Zimbabwe. She also did secretarial work in both the Bishop's office and SJI Superior General's office. She too, looks forward to serving the people of God, especially here at I.C.

 

 

A New Face in the Parish Office: We welcome Lindsey Fragman Lowe, a lifelong member of the parish, who joins Kathy Szarmack in the Parish Office. She and her husband, Chris, are the parents of two children. Lindsey is the daughter of Ron Fragman and Cathy Libert, and a granddaughter of the late John & Rosanne Fragman of our parish. Lindsey also serves as a Cantor. We Welcome her to the parish staff.
